Jose A. Guerrero graduated from UC Berkeley with honors and general distinction in 1991. He received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1997, and was admitted to practice in California that same year.

He began his legal career in Silicon Valley, practicing law at Fenwick & West in Palo Alto initially, before spending his final years in SV with the international law firm of Perkins Coie in Menlo Park, CA.

Mr. Guerrero was introduced to Bakersfield by a close friend, colleague, and native of Bakersfield, David Blaine in 2003. Since then, Jose Guerrero was an associate, income partner, and later a capital partner at Klein DeNatale Goldner until April 2012.

Mr. Guerrero decided to launch his own law firm in April 2012 in order to create a more “family-friendly” legal environment, while continuing to deliver excellent and timely work to his clients.

Mr. Guerrero co-founded Hispanic Business Connections, a networking organization focused on the Hispanic market, and serves as a director of the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Bakersfield Business Network. Mr. Guerrero is involved in and contributes toward numerous charitable organizations.

Leslee Vincent has more than two decades of legal and business experience, Leslee has developed a reputation in the legal community as a senior transactional paralegal with depth of experience in the area of transactional and corporate law. Prior to joining Jose in his sole practice, Leslee's previous paralegal experience has been with well-respected local law firms, most recently with Klein, DeNatale, Goldner, Cooper, Rosenlieb & Kimball, LLP.

Leslee is an invaluable legal assistant and right hand to Jose Guerrero. Leslee works closely with Mr. Guerrero on entity formations, corporate and business transactions, real estate transactions, estate planning, corporate maintenance and office administration. Leslee personally communicates with clients, accountants, state agencies, and other business professionals that help our clients towards smooth business transactions.

Leslee is actively involved in our community and has served on the board of directors of the Kern County Paralegal Association as Community Affairs Director; she has managed competitive softball and soccer teams for several of her five children and is involved in her church. Leslee has been married to Ross Vincent for 28 years.
